Lyncroft Vineyard Pinot Noir
Wine
Stonier Lyncroft Vineyard Pinot Noir is made with MV6 clone fruit, grown in the Lyncroft Vineyard's old volcanic basalt soils on the Mornington Peninsula.
Pinot Noir is renowned for its ability to express the nuances of its site. All vineyard and winemaking practices at Stonier are tailored to the challenge of carrying these through to the bottle.
The fruit is typically open fermented, using both wild and cultured yeast. After several months of maturation in French oak barrels, the wine is blended and aged further before release.
Crimson red, Stonier Lyncroft Vineyard Pinot Noir has pretty stone fruit flavours, spicy oak, and persistent tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
